This webinar describes presumptive eligibility for Medicaid, a process that enables hospitals to enroll eligible patients on the spot. Presumptive eligibility applies even in states that opted not to expand their Medicaid programs. An important part of expanding coverage under the Affordable Care Act, presumptive eligibility represents a way hospitals can play a significant role in connecting uninsured people with the coverage they need.
